Cruise control can't be activated

I can not activate cruise control. When I push cruise control button, cruise control mark goes to the 30km/h. And when I am trying to set the speed, pops out the warning that "cruise control can not be activated". Car does not show any faults. What could be wrong?

My guess is your speed is too low for it.

No, I did it on various speeds. Result is the same.

Do you have active cruise control?
The one with the distance radar installed under the front bumper?
If so, check if the radar surface is clean.
I had this in heavy snow fall, that suddenly the cruise control stopped working. But it could also occur if there is a lot of dirt or roadkill bugs on the surface.
Otherwise I don't know..

How old is the car? Maybe it's an issue with one of the sensors.

Have u done any flashing of modules or recently retorfit anything? I heard of cruise control not working properly when flashed wit older or different psdzdata

When you flash KOMBI ECU, you need also to check dependencies. Like FEM_GW must be also flashed with the same version as you flashed the KOMBI.
I don't know why people doesn't say what they've done first and errors they get after. We are here to help, not to judge you guys.
So please, next time, tell everything, like I tried to flashed my KOMBI, everything finished with no errors but cruise control is not working, or I can't set the LIM speed if you also coded the SET button to be LIM.
I tried to flash my kombi as I thought that is and I had the same, I flashed FEM_GW and back to normal, everything is working fine for me.
So guys, do the same steps as you done the KOMBI for FEM_GW.

It doesn' matter, I flashed NBT only 1st time, and than I flashed KOMBI and found out that I got an error when tried to activate Speed Lim and Cruise control didn't want to be activated so I checked for dependencies of Kombi and it needs also the FEM_GW.
I flashed FEM_GW in less than 2 minutes and everything worked like a sharm.
Wherever they got the instructions from, they've been told 100% to check the dependencies

I got the same problem after coding a used cluster and coded to add cruise control

I think the i-level is different because I didn't find the same level when coding BKOMBI so I choose the later one

FEM_GW doesn't show any coding options it doesn't have any green CAFD

SOLVED .. I had to flash the FEM_GW to the latest i-step as the BKOMBI, and everything works now

I suddenly got this error too - didn't flash or code anything - cruise control cannot be set, used to work perfectly... Is there any fix other than a dealer? I have a big trip planned for the weekend.

Car is a 2017 330e
