Didn't even know about this one!

Great selection of BMWs (inc M4s, E30 M3s and a load of others), lots of classics from SWB Audi Quattros to 1975 Ferrari 312T, SF15 F1 cars and Nordschleife, Silverstone, Brands and Monza.

Needs a set of ACS....

Just bought on Amazon Prime

Will be strapping my arse to my seat and F1 wheel in the winter hiatus between next seasons Grand Prix.

D.
my fav game of all time got it on PS3 and then PS4 and completed in the hard setting quite a few times. stunning story line, just can't say enough about it.

Infact I am just hoping naughty dog are working on number 2. The add on's are good as well.

I just bought an Xbox one s for 4K blurray purposes. OMG the revenant on ultra HD premium set in HDR - incredible. I must say Forza horizon is very impressive. I have downloaded Gears of war 4 - looking forward to having a go with that - with a 11.5 month old son it might be 2018!

WTF sony are doing with the Pro and lack of 4k blurray support - just bizarre.

Nice one mate defo if you are interested in 4k bluray. Generally better that streaming so I hear (depending on hows the films are shot)

Exclusive games are good - I am impressed. Defo room for a PS4 and X Box in the house.

However there is going to be a new MS/Sony range next year with 4k gaming so I hear!

Only a new Xbox next year, apparently the PS4 Pro is Sony's console for the next couple of years at least!

Yep, very much. Got myself a lovely 4K HDR LG OLED 55" curved screen TV earlier in the year and want to exploit the true 4k HDR experience on it. Despite having Amazon Prime, my internet connection is pants so cant truly take advantage of their UHD stuff (the poor internet connection scales to down to an approx of HD). And frustrating you cant download their 4K content to watch offline on the TV. Only able to on a tablet or smart phone but wont push it across to TV in 4K. Wankers.

Next best is to at least get a 4K player and watch films from that. I've just downloaded some 4K demo footage from youtube and it looks utterly amazing on screen (even though there is quite a bit of downscaling from the download, its still at a massive bitrate).

Ironically, the cheapest current (limited) batch of stand alone 4K players come in at £250+ so getting an XBox One S seems like a steal and has the advantage of playing XBox-only titles too.

100% with you there. That is a lovely TV btw, I wanted the 65 OLED but couldn't justify to the boss so I ended with the Samsung ue65ks8000 and it's pretty amazing anyhow.

Ps have you seen this website? the Samsung chasing the lights demo is the best TV picture I have ever seen. The sky q man couldn't believe it
All of them are good - Panasonic ones encrypted for their sets such as mad max demo. Oh well

I've been watching some of those demo's on my LG OLED, they're amazing. Also if you're into snowboarding, download The Fourth Phase on Vimeo in 4k to a USB drive and play that. Luckily my Virgin broadband is holding up nicely so I'm also getting to enjoy Netflix and Amazon 4K HDR programs.

Ditto, downloaded a few of them too and all I can say is Wow! Different world of viewing.

As an aside, my copy of Assetto Corsa arrived for my PS4 today and have pretty much been on it all night

Initially impressions: Its very good although I would not say its as good as Project Cars. The visuals aren't as nice, not as many different cars, only a handful of tracks (although it has all the important ones; Brands, Silverstone, Monza/old Monza and several Ring iterations).

The car dynamics are very good and tied with my T300RS wheel and chair, very convincing. Again, I dont think they are quite as good as Project Cars. The wheel set up is quite poor too. It only gives you two button option schemes as opposed to allowing a full remap. Driving views are ok (I tend to drive from real drivers PoV) but it doesnt have the awesomely immersive helmet view that ProCars has). Feedback is very good though. My wrists, arms and shoulders are aching!

The AI is a bit weird. If driving anything other than open wheelers, its very good but as soon as you jump in to a single seat open wheeler, they seem to turn in to tards or a race full of Maldinardos.

Good points: Despite a lack of cars, the ones they have are excellent. Spent a lot of time driving a 1975 Ferrari 312T and a Alfa 155 Touring car Will jump in to last years Ferrari SF15-T tomorrow night.
Track detail is very nice.
Simple nav menus and they look quite nice.
Lots and lots of set up options - didnt really bother this evening but they will suit the most hardcore driver who wants to fiddle with everything.

Bad points: Seems a bit buggy. Game crashed twice this evening (latest update) and it seemed to blow the fuse twice in my wheel?
Limited cars (but good ones)
Dynamics are ok but not better than Project Cars
Sounds are ok too but not awesome as some reviews suggest (running the sound through a 7.1 Samsung home cinema)
Car and cockpit visuals are ok. I would suggest they are not much better than games that have been out a couple of years.

Overall its actually a very good sim but it appears like its been rushed on to sale. Doesnt seem to be very polished and Project Cars seems to have the edge. You have to spend quite a bit of time actually learning each car characteristics in ProCars but Assetto seems to be a bit of a 'jump in and drive'. For example, jumping straight in to the 312T on default settings (TCS off, manual, ABS off), I was able to get decent lap times after one lap. No spins or crashes. Tried the same in a similar era Lotus in ProCars and it tries to kill you for the first 40 laps! Very rewarding when you manage to keep it the same direction for one lap

They are both aimed at the sim market as opposed to driving 'game' which suits me. I will stick Project Cars and this one on tomorrow night and do a more objective comparison.
