2017 Navigation Map Updates (Updated)

The 2014 North American Premium Road Map for CIC came out early this year.

It is available for download now for anyone interested in updating their Europe or North American maps to 2014-1 version. This is a 3 USB Thumb Drive version that requires 3 each 8 GB or larger Fat32 Formatted USB Thumb Drives. It can also be done with a single 8 GB USB Thumb Drive, although it is not the preferred method.

For those with pre 09/2009 builds, you can make 3 Double Layer Double Density Drives instead and install it from DVD Drive.

You will of course to need to purchase an FSC Code as always to install it, but your net cost will be 80% less than ordering Online, and even > 80% less than what the dealership charges.

When you input an address you say (for example) "123 cherry lane, Kansas City, Kansas" or whatever. Then it asks you which zip code you're talking about. The specific address, "123 Cherry Lane", would only be in one zip code since it exists in only one location but since "Cherry lane" exists in multiple zip codes it asks you which zip code you want. I don't know my zip codes when I'm in an unfamiliar place where I would need my GPS so it makes the nav input useless.

I have no way of knowing. I think if it is shipping now, it will be 2013-2 if you are lucky, or worse still 2013-1A. Eventually they will switch over though, but when is anyone's guess.

No sorry. I have never encountered this problem before.
