Great pics. I agree about the engine tone on a diesel. Just can't do it in a tunnel.
As much as I love my 30d I do miss the sound of a good petrol. I moved to my current car as I travel to Europe about 6+ times a year and the Golf R I had before tank was way to small. Plus new baby. Boot rubbish on R hatch. But the 30d does give me the range and comfort to cross Europe.

Well things have turned out as i predicted... less than a year on I'm chopping in the diesel for a 340i. Funny the influence driving these roads has on you!
