As per here:

http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...1&postcount=40" rel="" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://f30.bimmerpos...stcount=40</a>

but thought it warranted its own thread, I've successfully recoded everything back to my car which had the latest "trimmed files" 55 istep update done when it was having the PPK fitted, which not long ago everyone thought was the end of us doing any coding ever again.

I've done:

Boot close on key
Mirrors fold on lock
M Performance Logo in Kombi
MPH Display in Kombi
Triple Blinker to 4
Door LED's Light on Reverse
Adjust Active Cruise Default Distance
Unfold Mirrors on Unlock
Turn off iDrive on Door Open
Inband Ringing (streams ringtone from phone)
RDC Shows Tyre Temp
iDrive Startup to ///M
Sport Displays to Red/Silver
Autozoom - if it works lol
Junction View in HUD
Default Bong to BMWi

Massive thanks to TokenMaster/ShawnSheridan, we can all breathe a sigh of relief

Does it require a new file set mate?

My brother has bought a 2015 car and will need some coding, all the coding on mine has been done now. Shitting myself first time I touched anything lol.

Yeah mate, it needs a slightly older version of ESYS and the tweaked psdzdata_lite ver 55 that the chaps have managed to put together

I just didn't want to bother the guy as he will probably get bombarded with PM's for the downloads.

Can anyone please send me the links to E-Sys version 3.24.3 or 3.25.3? I'm eager to get coding on my car! No reply from Shawn and he's likely very busy with all the requests.

Thanks!

I'm afraid I'm lost

I got to the point where you open the premium luncher to enter the token etc, but when I open it it just opens esys, I've uninstalled and reinstalled God knows how many times and it just does the same

Yeah the premium launcher sets a pin then opens esys. And you use it each time to fire up esys. Once esys is running you connect to the car and download the existing config and backup then make your changes....

Yes but I though you had to enter a pin of your choice in the first instance.

Pin will be prompted when you actually hit the code button. You are reaching the screen now you need to do the read of FA save the file and continue

Only the initial time you first run it to set it. After that it just runs esys. The pin will then only be asked for when you select to edit the cafd/ncd.....

If it didn't ask for the first set of the pin then uninstall it all and re-install. You following the v9 install instructions?

Thanks guys, but I think you're missing my point, steps 8-13, step 8 when open it, it opens esys.

Then for step 8 you must be double clicking the esys premium shortcut so its already installed. go to control panel and uninstall it, then double click on the msi installer again and re-install it.
