Holes in Bumper
I had removed the front license plate that came with my car but the wholes are kinda bugging me. Anyone have any suggestions on a cheap repair or making them less noticeable?
The only idea I had was painting the screws white and putting them back in. *I don't know why the image rotated like that fyi* Last edited by azrial03; 01-19-2020 at 09:16 AM.. Reason: Image flipped |

I have the same question, I'm going to remove mine soon and was wondering how it would look.
I have a black car though so I don't think it would be as bad but still wouldn't want to see the holes up close |

You can buy little plastic or rubber plugs at Lowe's/homedepot and paint them. If you want it to be paint matched you could potentially buy some touch up paint as well
Also since they sell them for other cars you could probably just buy them for a different model. I don't see there being a difference between license plate holes on different cars since license plates all have the same mounting points |

The only acceptable solution for me would be to take the bumper to a body shop, have the holes filled and then painted over. Anything else sounds more like a band-aid instead of a proper fix, especially if you're going to leave the front fascia completely exposed. That's what I did on my E93.

On my 340, I had 6 holes. No freaking idea why. I took it to a body shop to fix. |

Your in luck, as your Alpine White I used the home depot plastic plugs for furniture and although I painted them, even if flaking off they are white.
Here's my F36 (excuse the dirty car...) Bonus is they are like $2 for a package and they are much smaller than the BumperPlugs

Use these...
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt...2194/204275874 Might need to use rubber cement to keep them in place.

I had already order the bumper plugs. They are a perfect match for my paint which is actually the Mineral White Metalic (getting paint to match on my own might have been difficult). I did have to widen the holes using a 1/4 drill but they look very natural. Much better than two little holes in the bumper.
