I finally get to see your car. It looks amazing! Congrats.

One t6hing I have noticed that is missing from all our cars, the M side badging. ALL 2014 F30 M Sport Editions come with this as well as the 435s, but yet OUR M Performance Editions don't seem to have them.

I am going to inquire with my dealer about this. My car didn't even have the M Performance Engine cover and I am still waiting for it from Germany.

Enjoy the ride! Did you get 18s for the winter? No way you are still running on those 20s.

This M Performance Edition might be the proper variant for the top normal 3er It's somehow a continued trend, started with M135i and M235i

Sorry if this was already asked but why didn't the M Performance Brakes come with drilled/slotted rotors??

This car has M Sport Brakes option (Blue calipers), option code 2NH, which is mounted on the car at the BMW assembly line.

M Performance Brakes (Red, Yellow or Orange calipers) that is a OEM aftermarket upgrade use the same calipers and rotor sizes, but comes with drilled/slotted rotors.

Ah, I see! I was wondering why the calipers were blue but I thought maybe the color options vary from country to country. I think I read somewhere that they offer blue calipers for the 5 series and/or European 3 series...can you confirm?

I think upgraded rotors would be a very nice next step for OP's ride!

Option 2NH in Europe are Blue M Sport Brakes for 3 Series, I don't know if that option is available on the US market or for 5 Series.

Edit: saw op got it for a decent price. Although its still m3 pricingg you got a lot of added stuff. I was hoping to god that this wasnt a waste of money purchase eg 10k more than an m3.

OP Good win!!
Thank you.

Thanks brother. The long wait almost killed the deal for me to be honest. I believe the M badging on the fender is only available on the 435s. Please let me know if you find out otherwise.

My car is in the garage and don't think I will drive it in the winter. My old winter set up I had on the E90 is in perfect condition...but the tires are undersized. I'll probably sell them and get a new set next year.

I agree but I hope they build limited numbers to retain some exclusivity.

BMW e46 M3 in Lagun Seca Blue photos

I guess Lagun Seca Blue was initially offered in E46 M3. It was a 50/50 success/failure by then.

I even thought of painting my Bimmer with this colour, which I deemed gorgeous and unique but my friends were turned off commenting it looked like a toy. It was no longer offered in the following gen of E90/91/92.

These photos of F30 look more becoming to the car becos it looks dimmer, not as bright as that on E46. But who knows if it is the same in real life?

Amazing car, love it! But with all those options my bet is that the car is mid $65k if not more. I would wait for the M3 version for $200 more per month

There are multiple LSB E9X M3's running around. You just had to go Individual to get it.
