Hello with Carly I used the following and set to 0.0 and my mirrors fold / unfold with when I lock and unlock.

Is there something similar in Bimmercode ?

Comfort closing delay (mirrors)
• 0.0s
• 0.5s
• 1.5s
General delay for comfort closing. If ‘0.0s’ is set, mirrors fold immediately when car is locked. (codable in FEM)

So is the vgate plug and play or do you have to manually input settings for the wifi to work?

I have used this several times. I used it with great success when swapping my lights to LED's. However I was not so confident when trying to do other things as the warnings that came up about drive train and stability control bought me close to shitting my pants!

I have heard stories of people bricking their car, but being pragmatic They may have been trying to do silly things!

Yes mate. Plugs into your OBD2 port. Has it's own wifi, connect with your phone, job done. Really is that easy.

I've coded several cars with it, all very straight forward.

It also stores backups I believe. Once paid for, app updates are included.

It really is a doddle.

It seems to just add 'unknown value' when you select anything out of the ordinary. My active sound has this as it's set to something else..

Worst case, just remember what you've changed and put it back.

Same here did most things i wanted like digital speedo , disable stop start , door handles in reverse , did not change start up logo to m performance came up on idrive as needing an update .

1. allow you to see tyre temperatures on the screen which shows pressures?
2. raise the speed at which you can fold mirrors?
3. is the total cost £26 for Bimmercode plus £20 for the vgate on Amazon?
4. Can someone post a link to the correct vgate on Amazon - there seem to be a few and I'm not sure if they are different?

I downloaded the App in Demo Mode and tyre temperature was definitely one of the options you could set.

Thanks. Just tried demo mode. There seems to be some other useful stuff in there. It looks like you can change the temperature of the heated seat base relative to the back, which I am keen to do.

The door lights on reverse should be helpful too, and all for the cost of an M Performance key case...

I've just finished trying out bimmercode, the first time I followed MarkG's instructions and coded it to 0x03, once I clicked "code" it went through the process quite quickly, when completed I had tyre pressure warnings come up. I jumped out and locked the car to test it and I still needed a slightly longer press. I then coded again to 0x01 this time when the code was complete I got a rear end collision warning, again I tested it and this time its perfect, single press of button and the car is locked and mirrors fold in.

Does anyone else get random warnings when they code? once I got back in and started after the second test there was no other warnings.

Coding Mirrors when close, changes speed for mirrors unfold, seat belt ding delete, idrive start up to M logo, Mperformance logo on cluster, video while driving, eliminate NAV disclaimer and TPMS pressure for each individual tire.
