I ordered this for my f36, when the bumper came in it was black and not gray. Definitely watch YouTube videos and know every step when converting and you'll also have to transfer some parts from the old bumper to new

Yeah you had to get it painted as well, any issues installing? (saw a bunch of youtube clips and it looks straight forward)

I had some issues but I think it was just my end. Forgot to transfer pieces from the old bumper, had to remove some plastic pieces in the front end so the bumper can fit and also the reinforcement foam bar. With fitment, I just needed help with pushing the bumper in to get the screws inside near the fender (hardest part for me bc the screws were long). And for my bumper I couldn't get all the screws on the bottom to line up so there's missing screws on the sides but it isn't bad because I got majority of them in the middle which secures it. So overall, no major issues

I've been thinking of getting the same thing. Wanted to let you know that they are cheaper on eBay. There are perfect polypropylene aftermarket replicas available. Make sure it's made in Taiwan. They are about $100-$150 less if you go that route.

If you don't believe me search the forum. Countless people say the quality is indistinguishable from oem.

Kies Motorsports is a very well known BMW parts dealer and their body parts (i.e. bumpers, skirts, etc.) all have excellent fitment and his YouTube channel has an in depth M sport bumper conversion video that shows you the proper way to cross over from a base line bumper. I ended up getting an OEM m sport bumper and like mentioned previously, I had to leave the sides on the bottom not secured but besides that with the proper conversion pieces it fit like a glove.

I know Kies is good but with the lockdown @ the border (Canada/USA). The shipping costs will hit hard, can't pick it up from Washington state like I'd like to.

I did call up that Canadian retailer and they said that the bumper was made in Taiwan, I think I'm gonna go for it.

I really don't like this luxury line rear bumper. I've already converted the front to MSport. I don't know what else to do here except buy an MSport rear bumper. Looking for ideas of what people have done to dress up the luxury line rear bumper.

wrap the lower portion at the cut line in gloss black to give the appearance of a diffuser. color match rear reflectors
