I would like some recommendations on lighter weight 18 inch wheels to replace my F30.

F: 18x9 ET30/31
R: 18x9.5 ET43/45

What is the lightest Front: 18x9" ET30/31 Rear: 18x9.5" ET43/45 wheels?

Apex wheels are really good for the price, solid lightweight a lot of the guys around here use them on their track cars.

As others have suggested, APEX wheels are considerably lighter than OEM wheels and proven to be reliable both on streets and track.
I'm running ARC-8 18x8.5ET38 with MPSS 255/40, just the bare wheel was about 8lbs lighter than OEM 400M on each corner.

I will use for 245 F and 275 R or wider tire. Is 513M fit with this?

Curious, why does everyone always go for a lighter wheel and tire combination? Seriously, just a thought? My logic being, does it really make your car 0.01 second faster, those extra 3lbs per wheel? Can it really be that noticeable? Since you are effectively adding weight and distributing it equally on all 4 corners of your car. Does it really make your car feel any different? Because, unless you are adding the equivalent of an extra person, not evenly distributed equally, how much difference can it actually make? Again, for the trolls...Just a question...I have no desire to be flamed or banned on this forum.

Google "unsprung weight reduction" and learn more than you could ever want to know. Another vote for Apex wheels; I have EC-7R 18's.

Another vote for Apex. My ARC-8 18's staggered are under 19 LBS each.

245/40/18, 275/35/18 will fit perfect on 513M. You should be modestly lowered. here is a pic of it...

while i also think Apex forged iterations are an excellent choice, since the OP is in Thailand, shipping from the US would increase cost considerably. OP likely has easier access to wheels, from Rays, Advan, BC Racing, BBS, etc.

The "unsprung" weight thing is kinda what I was getting at...Doesn't really do much for acceleration, handling perhaps, as per physics ...But getting back to my original point, considering that these vehicles a usually driven in civilized manners on public streets, again, not much could be gained here either...

At most you are losing 6lbs per corner...0.001mph maybe .025g's or about 1mph on a skidpad tops, which can be over ridden by better tires...

Let me put it to you another way, the 428/430 has a 0 to 60 time of around 5.7 to 6.1 depending on your test conditions. the 435/440 has a 0 to 60 time of about 4.7 to 5.0, again depending on the actual test conditions...Everyone would agree, that there is definitely a 140HP difference but also more than 100lbs difference as well...yet it only nets you a 1.5 second advantage, more or less...

I ask again, can such a small weight reduction really make the car feel different??

As far as acceleration we all know that with the same power, making your car lighter WILL make it faster. So 5 lbs per wheel x 4 wheels is 20 lbs savings from the car right? WRONG. Wheels are not sprung weight so the car not only has to accelerate the weight of the wheel but also has to over come the rotational inertia. This means that removing 1lb of wheel weight is equivilent to removing 10lbs of sprung vehicle weight. 5lbs x 4 corners x 10 = equivelent 200lb savings.

So think of it like this, is your car noticablly slower with a 200lb passenger nexto you?

Now it also gets a little fuzzy here because of MOI or moment of inertia. The closer the mass is to the center of rotation the less energy required to turn it. So you can actually have a heavy 16" wheel that has a smaller MOI than a lighter 18" wheel just because the mass is closer to the center.

Its a street car so buy the pretty wheels you like the most. Or if you really care get some lightweight 17" wheels like RPF1's

I just put 18x8.5 Apex ARC-8's on my car. Between the new wheels and lighter tires (General G-MAX RS) I'm now 14lb lighter per corner or a total reduction of 56lb unsprung weight. Even on my car with over 400WHP the difference is very noticeable.
