2013 F31 lower grille bird strike

My wife's 2013 F31 touring M Sport took a bird strike the other day when a young pheasant decided it wanted to go to work with her. Hopefully you can see from the attached pictures that the grille doesn't appear damaged but has popped off from the clips. I have no idea what's involved in putting this back in place. Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

As you surmised it just clips in place. You should be able to pull it back into position.

If you want access to the back of that you can get there through the wheel well cover. You may even just go through the access panel even. Depends on how small and flexible your arms are.

True, but that involves jacking the car up and removing the wheel. I'd do that only if it was the only alternative.

Update.

There was a lot more damage inside than could be seen from an external view. The fog light mounts had broken and I had to replace it with a new one. The grille went back in no problem.
