New battery for 328i?
Hi all,
Battery is due to be replaced soon and BMW want something ridiculous like $800. Any suggestions on where to buy an equivalent battery that will do the job and won't cost a fortune? |

When my 328i f30 battery was starting to give up around December last year, I purchased a replacement BOSCH AGM LN5-S6 from a battery store for $325 in WA. Coding is simple if you have Carly or Bimmercode. |

Just make sure it is a AGM Battery (for auto/stop start cars) with the correct wattage and you'll be good to go. As above coding the battery is quite simple, just need to tell the car you've registered a new battery.
