Tint recommendations
Hey guys I’m looking to tint my car 20% all the way around besides the front windshield. I live in Indiana where the sun isn’t harmful really at all, and was wondering if going with the standard tint instead of ceramic tint would be a good idea. Doing it really for looks purposes as well since the Indiana weather isn’t as harmful (what I’m being told). Opinions?

I think you are making too dark, and may have issues with regulations.
In Ohio it is 50%, so I did 35% and… never had problems. You maybe stretching too much going 20%… but you should know better. |

I did my f33 with 20% on the sides and back and 70% on the windshield. It was way too dark. Couldn't see the sidewalk when exiting my driveway. I had to open my windows. My street is dark.
On my f39, I did 35% on the sides and 70% on the windshield. Much better. ceramic. Last edited by chowser51; 05-20-2024 at 05:34 PM.. Reason: pics |

Ceramic will also keep heat in during those rough Midwest winters better than non-ceramic tint. IMO, you’re more likely to regret not doing ceramic than Vice versa later on down the line. I found 30% was my favorite tint, which is also the legal limit here in Colorado.
