Hello guys, I am interested about changing Ihka basis to ihka high display only.
I connected panel unit and almost everything work but i have some issues>
The temp is always 16 degrees
The wheel temperature doesnt work. The control panel is lci and my car is dated from 07/14. Do i need to install anything or only i must code the ihka and fem ecu

Is it possible to "update" the single-zone to two-zone climate? F30 LCI

I compared the part numbers such as, the heater - and they are the same as in cars with dual zone air conditioning ...
In general, the F30 with single zone ceiling is a rarity ...

I know that there were topics about older models like E90, but the heater was different there - unless, real parts are not the same as realoem.com shows..?

What is different then? Probably amount of air conditioning factor is different but what is comes from?

Since It's too much for me i would like to just change the control panel of my single zone with the one of the dual zone but I would like also to know if the single zone could provide the air flow to the rear seats if the proper pipes are added from the front to the rear under the tunnel. Could you help me? Do you know something about that?

Hello, NO, single zone can not deliver air in the back. And also, if you change only controllers , it I’m not sure that it will work.

Hi everyone. I got all the hardware for retrofit my basic ihk to high IHKA. I only need to Know If I must drain air conditioning system before change heater box with new ecu. that is, do I need to take out all the gas from the air conditioner?

You don't need. Close valves from pipes only, before disconnecting them

And i can get cheap another one but from f31 (high) 2016(facelift)
Can i change and connect it plug and play ? Without any problems?

yes you can. i am doing this retrofit right now. but you must change more pieces and use esys to Code and program.

the Next weekend i Will finish the retrofit (i Hope so). i must drain the f134 gas and change the Air and heater box. all wires are disconnected and all pins in FEM were installed and changed.

finally I got the two zone ihka klima working. I changed the dash with a new M4 leather one.
