It'll move the wheel forward in the wheel well. I only have very slight rubbing against the wheel inner if I'm fully compressed and turning near end of lock. Otherwise, no issue.
Just to chime in as someone without the correction hubs. Adding the TS to my already installed LCAs pushed the wheel outward further. My 8.5 et38 wheels were made to have a very flush fitment, paired with my 245 (measure 256) RS4s and also being lowered on KWs I experienced some bad rubbing. I had to get a mild fender roll and remove the bumper/fender tab protruding into the wheel well. It still rubs slightly on the driver side due to a not so perfect roll.

If you go down this route and have a similar setup to mine, remove the tab BEFORE the roll and you won't have my problem.

Sorry for the delay, Jake! But I've been busy:

RCT Performance, Westbury.
I did the LCAs myself, and was able to get a good enough alignment with a tape measure for me to drive to the shop for a real alignment.

My parts finally came in. I ordered the Lemforder units from www.onlinecarparts.co.uk. They look like they are the OEM parts with the //M logo ground off. Ordering was easy and shipping was pretty fast (6 days) considering parts came in from Berlin.
All in with shipping it was about $400 for the LCAs and TS. Not bad considering the OEM LCAs are $400 on their own. I got the summit racing spacers as well and now I'm only waiting for the replacement hardware and headlight leveling rod.

Hello BMW Experts!

It seems most people here are doing the F80 LCA, then the F80 TS....
I want to try this setup:
Correction hubs with stock F30 LCA & F80 TS, or F30 TS with monoball bushings or Meyle HD bushings.

Anyone see probs with this setup, pls?

TIA! Murf

I'm really curious about the meyle HD TS bushings. People said great things about them for the E90s, but I haven't heard of anyone with an F3x trying them yet.

Ok, so I was doing research on these, and found that they are available from fcpeuro for $80~/each.

More importantly, I found this info in the description:
"This control arm features an all steel ball joint and solid rubber bushing"

I think this may be the ticket, gentlemen. For only $170, I think I may try these before stepping up to M3 or kmac. Seems like a good middle ground, stiffer than originally designed, but also not completely solid like a monoball and should still be comfortable on the street.

Not to mention the fact that they have a 4 year warranty and if you buy from fcpeuro, you could replace them for "free" (minus shipping costs).

No that should be just fine, no headache here
F30 ts or f80 ts with monoball bushings would be the best (remember f80 ts with their original bushings don't fit the f30).

I’m not seeing the Meyle arm on the fcpeuro site......is it not with the other LCA and TS offerings?

Not gonna lie, I messed up and found the control arms for the previous models.
I can't find the correct ones sold in the US.

On ebay you can get a pair of meyle hd arms from england for about $240 shipped. Still cheaper than $300+ for the M3 arms.

Edit: found another seller and they are about $200 shipped.

I got the F80 LCAs installed. Firestone tried to get the alignment correct twice and they couldn't. The car steers to the right although the toe-in values are correct. What do you guys think?

Get the alignment done somewhere else, their rack could be out of spec.

Stiffer bushings. Will decrease deflection and changes in geometry, and increase steering feel and precision.

Please post your opinions when you get around to installing them. Anyone else have these meyle arms on their f30 that can share their thoughts? The price is so low compared to the alternatives.

The only other feedback i could find was from e9x guys, and they were very positive. I expect this to be similar to the m3/m4 TS, but with the same geometry as stock.

Thanks Eschmacher. I doubt they could be worse than the stock setup, that's for sure. The question for me, I guess, will be are the meyles good enough to forgo the m3 arms and their associated camber change for half the cost.

BTW, anyone here with 19" wheels install the m3 arms? I hear the overall wheel/tire package isn't much larger than the 18s because the 19s tire profile is lower, but I'd hate to buy the parts and get them installed only to find out I don't have enough clearance. I'm stock on m-sport adaptive dampers and springs. Rwd, no plans to lower the car any time soon. If I do, it would only be a 10mm drop via Dinan springs.
