Is Estoril Blue II still available for 340i? If not then I'm going to pass and get a 4GC before that gets discontinued as well.

The new b58 sounds nice as fuck. Too bad they aren't doing he new b48 right now. I would cancel my order lol

This looks like a very small LCI effort to me.

The B58 engine had to be included because it reduces costs, sharing its platform with all other gasoline engines. I'm glad they got rid of the weak N55, but the B58 still has only one turbocharger, requiring extensive turbine modifications for serious tuning, while probably increasing lag.

I do like the rev match option for the manual gearbox and the optional HUD. Things like the retuned suspension and different brake pads, black center console are just for ensuring that the press release is longer.

My speculation is that they directed their efforts towards the next 3-series generation. The F30 looks quite bland in stock form, especially in Europe with those tiny wheels and huge wheel gaps that come as standard. I saw the new Mercedes C-class and I was much more impressed.

Yes. Estoril Blue remains an M Sport exclusive color.

I agree. The real one to get is the next gen 3 series. LCI is kind I weak overall imo.

The extra traction overcomes the additional weight since 0-60 is mainly a metric to measure how quickly a car can get off the line.

335 sounds better than 340...340 should be the new 4.0 imo , also 340 with 320hp sounds a bit underpowered , why not raise the bar bmw? imo audi a4 and c class produce better styling and while the interior in 3er is fine I guess , it's almost childish compared to the c class cabin.

everyone knows it going to be more than 320hp in real life...probably closer to 350. its bmw...

Hell, with the MPPK an F30 is advertised at 335 HP, which is around what they actually dyno to the rear wheels.

Oh those side M badges on the 340i are gonna stir up issues again with true M'ers again. Probably take them off on the 2nd year productions like they did the M235i.
