Differences between a 320d M-Sport built July 2013 and one built Feb 2014
Hi guys new to the F30 world..
Have been a BMW owner since 2007 (X3 3.0d M-Sport) Loved that car but sadly after 190,000 KM's it has gone into retirement (snapped timing chain) and currently sits at a Service Center with no Motor. So decided to buy a 320d M-Sport as I wasn't really fussed on options I only had a couple of must haves. Xenon Lights M-Sport Package Sunroof Extended Bluetooth If I had my way I would remove the now Standard Sat NAV if I could. So being the fact I am now short a car I didn't have the luxury of wanting to wait and have one built so once I nutted out a deal on price it came down to availability and the dealer said there was 1 in the country with the specs I wanted and would have it in a week. Now in my excitement I failed to ask the question was this a 2014 or 2013 built car and signed the sales contract anyway. I did a search on my vin and found that had all my specs but the Production Date was 01/07/2013 and was delivered to Melbourne on 9/08/2013 So its been sitting either on a showroom floor or warehouse since August. So my question is are there any major differences between a 2013 and 2014 model. and would I consider my car a 2013 plated car or a 2014 plated car. From memory I know some cars are considered 2014 even though they may of had a production date of 2013. Sorry for the long winded story but any advice would be helpful Thanks |
