No clue whatsoever. Never heard/seen something like this on my car or my friends' cars.

Hi all, I'm from Italy and I'm owner of a 125d MSport last restyling. Unfortunately my fog lights are halogen and I'd like to install led light. Please can you recommend a led light for my car with color temperature similar to Bmw led and without glare problems? Thanks

Hey there, I'd check out HorizonLEDs.

I still have their 4th Generation CREE Headlights, H8/11 is what fits our cars, but double check fitment in owner's manual just to be sure. Y

ou could try finding cheaper bulbs of the same design on eBay, but I just stick to HorizonLEDs due to the warranty.

With the 4th Generation headlights, I didn't have to install CANBUS cables or resistors or anything. Simple plug and play with no warnings, however, you do need to code the bulb checks off to stop the light from flickering every 30 seconds or so.

Hi and thanks
I checked manual, they fit H8 35W light for fog.

Do you suggest these HorizonLEDs? Please can you tell me a link where I can order them? I hope they can send to Italy...

The type of light (white) is similar to Bmw led?

Can you confirm that the lights that you put do not have significant glare problems?

I thought that with Canbus was not necessary to code the bulb. Do you think is better your model without Canbus cable?

They do ship to Italy! I order all the way to Lebanon, so Italy shouldn't be out of the question for them. No glare issues with my current setup. Coding was necessary 80% of the time, regardless of setup. I prefer my generation of lights, less draw than ones that require CANBUS cables.

Hi, I contacted HorizonLED and they replied me saying that best buy for me is a Philips Luxeon kit:
http://www.horizonleds.co.uk/cree-le...-led-headlight

What do you think about? They suggest this because "Anything higher in lumens can cause glare and doesn't look OEM".

I still believe the 4th Generation lights are the best in terms of minimizing glare. I've previously had the 3rd Generation lights that they've recommended, I've found the 4th generation ones to have the least amount of glare.

Hello, if you test either 3th generation or 4th generation lights and in your opinion the last one has less glare I will buy it. I suppose that with spotlight for halogen lamps (that has my car) is not possible to eliminate this problem.

Please do you have a pic with your car in front of a wall to see the result?

About colour temperature, which is more similar between 3th and 4th generation to Bmw led headlamp 5500 kelvin?

Can you please tell me which fitment the lights are in a 2014 F30 335d?
For:
Reverse Lights
Brake Lights
Rear Indicators
Front Indicators

Am I right in saying they are all 581/BAU15S/PY21W, with a 150-degree seat?

try the lamp finder from Osram.
https://am-application.osram.info/en

For the brake light bulp replacement I used the P21W BA15S in RED (not white). Still very bright saturated red also behind the red rear cover.

That's what I'm using
Reverse Lights: P21W BA15S 50Watt CREE LED CANBUS (white)
Brake Lights: P21W BA15S 50Watt OSRAM LED CANBUS RED
Rear Indicators: P21W BA15S 50Watt CREE LED CANBUS (white, no amber version available)
Front Indicators: PY21W Amber (BAU15S)

PY21W is only used for front indicator. All others are P21W. But as you can see I choosed different colors.

The problem after visiting the Dealership, I do not know what they mixed up with me, apart from updating the module, because until I turned on the fog, there was no error. Now, after driving 300km, I turned on the lights and there was a fog failure error. I checked it in coding and almost everything was fine except 3061- NSW_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG; MAPPING_ABBIEGEL / NEBELSCHW_L / R_PWM_LEVEL 100% and NSW_L / R_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ (DIMMED). I coded everything correctly and I still have an error and in addition, welcome light with rings do not work.
And you can see the computer checking the bulbs still, because you can see the typical flashes before turning on the lamps. What else can I check?

It's common for dealers to upgrade the vehicle software, and in so doing wipe all coding. Go back and make sure the warm and cold checks are off and 'Is LED' is on for both left and right.
