So I just retrofitted the 6wb cluster and had it coded locally. Everything is going fine except for my hud which is disappearing within 10 min of driving. I know this is a known issue so I was wondering if anyone found a solution. Would installing a newer hud fix this or is it a coding thing? Literally any insight would help immensely!

Disappearing or disappeared? Do you wear polarized sunglasses?

Disappearing. Started right after 6wb install so I was wondering if it was a hardware compatibility thing or a coding thing. Forgot to mention I have a 2013 (June 2012 build) F30 335 with CIC.

I have normal non polarized sunglasses as I had to get new lenses bc it blocked out HUD a few months back.

Forgot to update this but yeah I changed the hud to the 2015 one I believe and my problem is solved. I believe someone else said the old hud was provided 9v while the new is 12v. The old one turns itself off to prevent overheating because it is being provided or thinks it is being provided 12v. You have to change hud to a year that started having nbt. The newer the better to ensure you don't have any issues.
