MPPSK: what can I expect?

After 7 months of owning a 340i, I decided to finally get the MPPSK. I've always wanted it.

What can I expect? Any reviews?

Added a cool shot I took of my stock 340i

There are a number of threads discussing the mppsk. I have a 2018 340 and got the mppsk after about a year of ownership. Now 2 years later I still enjoy the sound and power. I have had no issues with it. I like the seamless integration with the car. I put on the CF tips after having the silver tips for a while. Good luck and enjoy the new mod to your car.

By all means, get MPPSK and just enjoy more emphatic acoustics in Sport mode. MPPSK happens to be one mod with zero impact on the warranty.

That is really a key point. The mppsk is a high quality cat back exhaust that integrates with the valves. It also includes a mild stage one tune. Because this exhaust is added via bmw it is full warrantied by bmw. At start up it is a bit louder but then it calms down and in comfort it is not much different than the regular exhaust. It really comes alive in sport mode.

You can also expect drone noise at highway speed.

I used to have 340i with BMW Performance muffler from factory(maybe this is MPPK).
And every time I cruised 75 to 80mph there was a drone noise in comfort or sport.
I used to step down a gear or turn radio a little louder.
loved everything else about it.

In Comfort there is no drone or annoyance.

On Start up it is louder for 30sec, if you can handle that the rest is perfect.

In Sport with the valves open, of course if you lug the motor in a high gear your going to get a bit of drone at certain resonances.

The real problem with MPPSK is you can't put the thing down, you say only now and then for spirited driving? Ha! Ya right!

Not in comfort mode. I drive a few times on the highway per week for work and in comfort mode there is zero drone then in sport mode, tiny bit but when I am in sport mode, im not really cruising...

Anyways, OP...you will love it. Click on the link below to the MPPSK thread and I gave a few reviews starting with my post # 1214

Enjoy and report back your thoughts!

PS: I feel the butt dyno tells me the car has more HP / TQ than the advertised numbers! But who knows..

Expect more HP than BMW claims. The engine from the beginning is underrated.

People have dyno'd the MPPSK to 368, even past 380 hps on high octane.

By the way mute before you watch the next vid. and skip to 4:35 lol

I agree. No drone in comfort. As pointed out, if you lug the engine or run at rpms in the range of 1800-2000, you will get a drone. Some argue that is part of the ASD, but I think it is a real drone due to physics. I just put it in to sport mode and switch the gear shift to the left and by running at a few rpms higher with the gear shifted there is no drone. More importantly the engine growl is better and the pops and burbles are better. So I really never have any issues by doing this. You can also run in sport+ and that solves the problem too.

How much you think a BMW 328i XDrive should go for with sportline package and 65k miles on it, 2015 model.
