P147e, TPMS Malfunction, and keyfob failure
I started my car this weekend and my TPMS malfunction warning came on. I stopped at a gas station on the way and my keyfob wouldn't connect. I replaced that battery but it changed nothing. Shortly after my engine light came on with P147e. I purchased a battery charger and tender and serviced that car battery but that still didn't fix it.
Does anyone know how all these symptoms would relate and what might be the fix? |

All three of those symptoms could be caused by broken wiring. I had that code and it turned out that a mouse had chewed the wiring to the diagnostic module for tank leaks.

Well I found the broken wire behind my fender liner and also found that my brake wear sensor was broken. I shorted the two wires for the brake and patched the other wires but the lights are all still on. Unsure of what to do about that. My scanner won't let me clear the engine code. I have a brake sensor on the way so I can replace that, hopefully solving that issue but I have no idea what to do with the other wires and the code still being on. Might frustrating.
