Nurburgring fails 2017

Watch this and see if you come to the same conclusion as I did regarding BMW vs Audi.

All Audi incidents involve understeer, all BMW incidents involve pricks?

Yeah I thought the same, though being charitable there are lots of pricks in all sorts of cars, BMW's are just popular in general.
Amazed at how many Audi's went straight over that corner.

This roll was bizarre!

That corner looks the place to be!

The biker coming off made me think, hardly ever seen bikes there, is it not popular with bikers?

Yes, many bikers go. The poor sod in the video hit oil / coolant on the track.

You could see it coming... for his sake there should have been a red & yellow flag being waved but they don't seem that bothered!

Most if not all of the 'fails' at the Ring involve cars with passengers. Very rarely do you see people mong it when solo. Amazing what a bit of ego does to ones experience and understanding of physics.

Bikers tend to be outnumbered at the Ring due to the mix of morons in four wheels. Bugger taking to two wheels when you have 70% of the track full of Darwin candidates. Been round the Ring a few times and it beggers belief how many people leave their brains and common sense at the ticket booth. A lot have zero concept of speed/handling/tyres/brakes. They seem to think as soon as they go past the barrier on to the track in their road car, miraculously their entire car set up has been swapped for a DTM and they have been endowed with the driving abilities of Sabine Schmitz.

The problem is they see other cars going that speed, often in what looks like should be a "slower" car than theirs , so try to keep up, not realising that others are just much quicker and more experienced on that track.
