I very much doubt the ride in the R is better since most people say the M140 is more on the GT side of comfort over other hatches.

I think it will be some sort of crossover. Might go look at a Q3.

Maybe it's just to my eyes, but the Q3 looks like an old ladies car, weird shape, too high and too short. Like some kind of raised up VW Beetle.

If it was me, and it will be in a couple of years, downsizing after the 440, I'd wait to have a look at the new X2, or maybe the XC40 when it arrives.

Personal opinion, but a Q3, even in its hottest form, is not a car I'd like to own or drive. The Q2 looks a little better but not sure if they do a decent engine in it.
