Hey people,
I want to code my aftermarket detachable towbar. (Vehicle order K235 in the HO word)
I'm not sure which control units (all?) I have to code afterwards. Can you help me with that? Thank you very much.

p.s. i spent hours reading this great thread, awesome..

VO Code AHM/AAG, FEM/BDC, DSC, ICM, FZD, TRSVC/ICAM, PDC/PMA, KOMBI, and NBT/NBT2 as present.

Another question: I come from a '08 E91 that had RTTI.

Now with my '13 F34 it is not there, so it seems. It feels a bit like a downgrade. Is this something i have to 'turn on' or can code on, or am I missing something? I saw something on the BMW site about a subscription, but does that apply to all models? Seems a bit strange to me as in my E91 ir was just there.

Two different systems. E91 was RTTI, which is FM Radio based and F34 is has ARTTI, which is SIM Card based.

RTTI which is traffic information broadcast over the local FM radio stations (commonly called Traffic Message Channel in the US).

ARTTI is Advanced Real Time Traffic Information and is a data service provided by BMW Assist services for a subscription fee.

As such, you need ARTTI Telematic Subscription Service.

Anyone know how to code full screen CarPlay? I tried it and it gave a white screen on the right split screen.

Your right , I got the full version from the play store in the end. Less hassle and happy to help the developer.

hello, i was wondering if i could ask a quick question on the AMPT module. i've been rebuilding a 12' f30 335i and the old amplifier was toast. bought a donor one and noticed in ista+ it says it needs to be encoded when i open up faults for ampt. is it possible to code this donor amp to my car thru esys or will it require programming? also, will psdzlite work for this or will full be required

No way to predict.

Try Coding with E-Sys and PSdZData Lite. If that does not work, you will need to flash with PSdZData Full.

appreciate the quick response shawn! i have the psdz full files downloading as we speak. have yet to try esys with the lite files but figured i'd try after having the full files.
just a quick run down on my situation... i know alot of user have been able to plug n play with donor amplifiers and have sounds, etc. but in my case. i have 0 audio from any speakers, including chimes from doors or backing up. when i've used ista+ to check out the control tree, only the ampt box comes up yellow in the MOST loop and shows "needs to be encoded". i have a appointment lined up for next wednesday to hopefully get the car up-to-date on everything as i got a list of 50+ things in ista+ software update page. everything appears to work on the car besides audio and it bugs the hell out of me. but sadly i'm not equiped to do ista+ programming.

FYI: got the car for a reasonable price and plan to use it as a commuter once its maintenance fully

Also i readed something about tokens, is there a token free version?

Hey Shawn, I got around to injecting the cafd into the ampt ecu and reset faults in ista+. Turned green and everything in the MOST loop is green now but still no audio from speakers. Not entirely sure where to go next with the issue. I did notice when checking cafd there were alot of them to pick from and maybe I picked the wrong one, idk. Heading back out to the garage tomorrow and hopefully tackling the problem.
