I tried to order the front splitters here in South Africa until I was advised of
the price
18500 Rands which equates to USD 2400. Which is insane

Wonder how much in your country

The whole kit is $2800 in Sweden.
That is the front lip, the side skirts and the rear diffuser.

Yes, that is the list price from my dealer converted to dollars.
I guess in Germany the price would be €1795 just looking at the price of other things and exchange rate.

So far I was quoted $3100 by a shop in the US who will mail the M Sport Kit to my place in Canada. I still have to pay taxes and brokerage fees on top of the $3100!

In addition, I will pay anywhere around $1600-$1800 for installation locally.

If I were to do this, I would simply get the same guy from the US to fly in and install it as he's charging around $1000.

Either way you're looking at approximately $4500-$5500 after taxes and other fee's.

To me, I guess I'd rather get a front lip and put the rest of the money towards a performance tune and a better exhaust!

Ya, Agreed! F%$*k that noise! Ill take the M performance brakes and the M performance exhaust and you may even be able to get the PPK when it comes out in December depending on price and still come under $5500 and be a much happier camper.

Any word on the Pricing yet? I was trying to hold out for Cobb, but who the hell know when that will even be out. But 26hp increase does sound nice in December. The big ? is how Much???? Is it worth paying $1200-$1500 U.S. Dollars for 26 hp

Im sure you guys will see it before we do here in the States. I want to do baslind stock dyno pulls on my car and do the PPK to see what type of increase it really makes.

What kills me is they know how much they will price it, they just dont want to tell us...

The price isn't available yet but it is confirmed that it will be 326hp in Europe, so 20hp up and 450nm with automatic and 430 with manual. It is available on BMW.com and it will be available in November.

That's much, much more than I expected. And, it's just plastic. No one is going to buy that.

I'll buy aftermarket. I believe there's one aftermarket company working one right now.

Hey Maz, is this correct/clear? Are you talking about retrofitting the M-Sport front and rear to your non M-Sport car, or are you talking about the M Performance Part?

i.e.
•M Performance Front Bumper Splitter, Rear Bumper Diffuser, and Sideskirts (M Sport Package required for all these parts)
•M Performance Rear Spoiler - available in high quality black plastic or carbon fiber

http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=751006

Obviously you don't need to fly up a specialist to have the M Performance parts installed right?
