Idrive screen (Business Nav)

My Car is a June 2013, whilst looking at other F30's I have noticed some screens are unlike mine ie all glass. They are kind of split around the edges, a screen section within a screen.

why is mine different, its all glass but still only about 6" visible screen. The overall size about 9".

Probably not described as well as it could be.

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks[B]

that is one of the differences between business nav and Pro nav - the business nave has a smaller (6.5”?) screen in the same housing as the larger pro nav screen which is 8.8”? hence the plastic surrounds on the business nav

with Pro nav, you can have a split screen display

There are 3 screens: Pro Nav, Business Nav and non-Nav. I don't have pics to hand but the Pro Nav screen looks like an iPad, the non-Nav screen is pictured in the previous post and the Business Nav screen looks like a hybrid of the two - smaller and the same shape as the non-Nav screen but with a glass finish.

Ah, i didn't realise there was a difference between the Business nav and "No Nav" screens - i assumed the original Q was identifying the difference between the Business Nav and Pro Nav - everyday is a school day!

what the hell is the point of having 2 different sized navi screens?

in the US you either have navigation (and you get the large screen)....or you dont have navigation (you get the small screen).

some of these combinations really just dont make sense
