Just curious. How does your brake pedal feel?

I’ve driven probably like 1000 miles. Mushy as hell. Kinda getting used to it. Idk. I’m sure I’d feel the difference if i got it coded.

Let us know how it goes after coding... I heard some people didn't code them and it was fine. Then you said its mushy as hell.

Mushiness usually means there is still air in the system. There is a factory procedure to vibrate the ABS system to shake out the air bubbles. Take it to a dealer or an independent BMW shop and they will know how to do it. It's in the Bentley manual too.

Often coding isn't necessary depending on what the stock brakes were before and how their front to rear bias is already programmed. For instance I've been told by several BMW trained techs that no coding is needed if upgrading from F30 335 stock brakes (4-piston front 340 rotors/1-piston rear 330 rotors) to M-Sport or M-Performance brakes that use 4-piston front 370 rotors/ 2-piston rear 345 rotors.

I did not get mines coded. I had the stock grey brembo's on my f32 435i. Upgrade to the mp brake kit and not problems at all. I did use a power bleeder and rebled the system after about 100miles just to be safe/perfect.

Sounds like you still have air in the system.
