Thinking of doing the Dinan State 1 tune for my 2018 340i GT. Anyone have any experience with that? Supposed to up the HP ( at the wheels ) to 380 with 395 lbs of torque. Also, I'm pretty sure its covered under warranty... dealership quoted me $1,600 installed before tax.

I have it on my 340. It's a nice bump in power and I would recommend it. I bought mine from a vendor here and installed myself in about an hour (it's REALLLY easy). I think I saw that there is a vendor doing 20% off Dinan products right now.. check the f/s forums.

Dinan recently released V2 for the stage 1 tune. Is that the one you're getting from the dealership?

No, I didnt see a V2 for the Stage 1!! I'll go look at the website...


I also saw the JBM tune which i think is similar... I think. For under $600 bucks might be worth a shot
