Not a gun person, but took my son to vegas for his 21st, convinced me to take him shooting. Did my research, found one outside vegas run by ex military people. I was/am very nervous around fire arms, but they were fantastic, only one person on range at once, two supervisors at all times. One guiding and one in the personal zone ready to 'control' any wayward movements.

The instructors brought some spent cartridges into the gallery for us and made us sniff them, he then asked us what that reminded us of, he then declared, for probably the tenth time that day, that's the smell of democracy son. Only in america.

Have to say a great experience, but i was still nervous all the way through it.
