I recently found out that the shaking at high speeds isn't the alignment or the balancing, but instead all of my rims are bent. I wasn't planning on replacing wheels for a few years but it is just as expensive to get them straightened as it is to just buy new wheels. I'm going to go for a more aggressive style now for the car.

I have been searching for a week now and it is not very easy to find decent staggered wheels on a budget, but I finally found some and want some input on what I'm going to run on the car.

Do you think this setup looks good and works? Let me know. I followed this chart I found and verified with discount tire to make sure the difference doesn't exceed 1%.

Vehicle:

2014 BMW 328D xDrive

Wheels:

Verde V21 18 x 8.5 - 35mm offset - F
Verde V21 18 x 9.5 - 48mm offset - R

Tires:

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus 245/40/ZR18 97Y - F
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus 275/35/ZR18 95Y - R

if you are not lowered, consider 235/45/18F, 265/40/18R, both 26.3" diameter perfect for x-drive. it's a slightly "beefier" so it fills the x-drive gap and provides better ride and impact protection.

continental extremecontact dws06 is available in this size combo, is comparable the michelin pilot sport as3+ but a bit cheaper.

I agree. seeing as you already have 4 bent wheels why would you even consider a shorter sidewall and tire diameter? I run 235/45/18 for winter on an 18x8.5 and it fills out the wheel well perfectly and is beefy enough to handle the harsh Northeast winters and terrible NY roads.

I only went the 275 route because I seen some builds with it and it gave it an even more aggressive approach. You think it's going to cause clearance problems?

245/40/18, 275/35/18 on the offsets youre planning will not have clearance problems however since the tires are shorter it will look better if you're car is lowered
