I was looking for a carry case / caddy for my detailing products. A search on Amazon brought back nothing that was specifically designed for the job.

You can use tool bags, trunk organisers, under sink caddys and so on, but none of them are perfect.

Do you know of anything? Thinking of a open bag with a carry handle on top. Round the outside are pockets designed to fit bottles the size of wax, sprays etc. Inside for cloths, pads, brush etc

For a long time I used a garden bag, you know, the kind of thing retired ladies use to put the weeders and spades in. Then I found something at Home Depot or Harry's Ace Hardware some years ago -- in fact I bought two, one for "every week" detailing products (wheel cleaner, tire shine, wax-as-you-dry spray) and one for the claying/polishing/waxing products. It's a black mesh tool kit, a real shape like a basket, with a handle. There might be one like it at Harbor Freight, too.

In fact, now that I think about it, mine are Craftsman bags, and I think I picked them up at Sears before most of the local stores closed. But they're still available on Sears.com:

Im using a 5 gallon pal with lid. Works perfectly and gives me a spot a sit when Im working the wheels and other low areas.

I Like the ones with the side pockets in. Are these pockets big enough to fit most standard detailing liquid containers?

This one from Griot's has four mesh pockets sewn along the outside that fit any of their 8 or 16 ounce bottles, plus some inside pockets.

I have been using the DP one for over a year and it's still rockin. I prefer it because the outside pockets for the bottles are solid fabric instead of mesh.

Certainly is! Got excited about a potentially great deal until I saw the 500/100 minimum order.
