Bought my first BMW at 24 . I'm 39 now and I'm just in the process of getting my wife a new 328. There's been 6 other BMW's in between those,, amongst others

Well obviously my Statistics where based on Male with a Girlfriend/Wife no children and a regular house with spouse working

Had my first 3 series at age 30 (E46), went up to a 528i, but going back to a 3 at age 40! That F30 is much more fun than my 528i was, for the same or less $$$!

38 here. I'm currently waiting my new BMW 335i Sportline (after 6 Audi and 2 BMW). Today I drive E91 330D. My F30 should arrive in june or july.

Hi everyone.

I must be one of the oldest here then! I'm 43, and have just ordered my first Bimmer, a 328i.

Just started looking at BMW forums and this seems to be one of the most active and interesting, so I've just registered and this is my first post!

MIne too.That was my point, and I hope nobody was thinking I was scoffing at the amount of money someone does or doesn't make.I commend anyone that puts in their hours.I'm in the same boat. I'm married without kids& a working spouse. Most of my friends are married , 2 income families with 2 kids and a house.Its tossing the kids in there that can be the game changer. But I guess it all depends on how you live your life. I know a doctor and dentist husband and wife with 2 kids who are JUST scraping by.But as their income skyrocketed ,so did their (so called ) needs.They are the true picture of people who got caught up in the trappings of money

Well I guess one could say I'm spoiled but my dad bought me the car after getting good grades through high school and getting accepted to a really good college. It was a reward for my hard work. Keep in mind that I drove the most basic civic for my first two years before getting this awesome car!

No worries, it was the same with my wife and her first Bimmer, she got it from her mother when she got out of college
