Another question I have for you guys.

Does anyone have the M performance drive analyser app and dongle? A bit of a gimmick on the road I know but fun to show your mates in the pub your last 0-60 time, ha, ha.

Well quick question is about the head up display, apparently you can link the analyser to the HUD but I'm not sure if this is just for the OEM after market one that shine up on the little screen? (See pics)
My car is factory fitted with the HUD on the windscreen and I can't seem to find anywhere on the iDrive menu to link it up?

Ha, Ha, yeah it looks pretty crappy. I much prefer my on the windscreen one. Same as the M cars

No, unfortunately not. I have the app on my phone so just use that in a holder whilst the dongle is connected and transmitting data.
I think it must just connect to the after market HUD which likely has Bluetooth

It's a bit of a gimmick to be honest but I've used it a couple of times. Need to get a new phone holder really and there's another thread about those at the min. Once I do I might use it a bit more
