If a permanent ban has been decided upon for NTG, I think this is way over the top. I admit I don't know the reasoning, but this is a great forum, IMO the best I've known - but NTG was never offensive to me - and I've got the devil's fuel - my car loves the stuff. Surely there are more options to atone for a discretion?

If a mod is reading, any chance of a re-think?

Permanent ban.

I can see the membership of this forum rising dramatically over the coming weeks
You're joking ? A permanent ban?

Bloody hell that seems harsh. Daily bashing of diesel aside and the odd dodgy photo / link hardly seems to warrant an outright ban but to be fair I've not read the rules lately ( or ever come to that).

Totally agree, nothing he has said has been particularly harsh.

If people can't take their car being a subject of derogatory remarks or the fuel they use, don't post on a forum.

If anything Nick is actually quite restrained on his comments.

Surely in light of the atrocities over the past 8 days NTG's quirky and witty comments bring a little bit of sunshine

If people on here really are complaining to the Mods then they really ought to get a grip on themselves
Totally agree.

Ban is very extreme and Imho not warranted!

Dear Mod (if you are reading this)

Another request to save NTG. I've been on a number of different forums with different cars. This is by far the best, in terms of useful advise, banter and support.

I have never found any remarks offensive by anybody. We all have different opinions, but we all like ours cars; and that's what matters.

Please let's not break up what is a great forum.

Thanks

Perhaps we could start a thread with a Poll on it ? If we get a landslide perhaps they'll rethink?

They are Americans.

They cannot "think".

They have " rules".

So they don't need to think.

Like communists......

They can't think outside the box, as they are still stuck inside it.

Still trying to work out how you get the lid off it.

A few more votes and some maturity they will eventually get it.

A life time ban seems lenient for dissing diesel. I would have thought a free holiday in Guantanamo Bay (with sea view) would be more appropriate

You need to be careful talking like that. Might get yourself banned like NTG. Only thing worse would be accusing the moderators of driving diesels.

BRING BACK NTG
