my part, one of the wing almost fell off, but i don't know what it is for.

It is for holding the bottom trunk liner up when you are accessing the "hidden compartment" where the spare wheel would normally sit on any decent car.

ah i see, so it's to hold the trunk floor, i didn't know that, but how does it hold though? i mean how to hang the trunk floor with this clip retainer?

It just rubs against it and the false floor hangs there. I personally have never used it, ever, but the clip drives me nuts since you snag it putting things in the trunk so it bends and comes loose.

Then it produces a nice "vibration" sound that annoys my OCD....

It's actually quite handy. I used to hold the lid up with one hand and one day I pushed the lid as far as it would go and it stayed! I had the car for 5 years before I discovered this nice little feature.

i tried it and it worked by snapping the trunk floor to the clip, very neat feature, and the wing that is almost fell off, it does not affect the function of the clip.

but if it's cheap enough, i will probably buy one to replace it.
