So, car is stationary and i am moving steering wheel left and right as it can be seen on video.

Is this normal sound? You need to turn up speakers.

Did you manage to figure this one out?

I have an LCI 320i which has started to make a similar noise when steering though only have 26k on the clock. It's in for a service next week so was going to check with the garage. Steering doesn't feel any different but just makes this very slight 'swishing' type noise?!?

I couldnt hear it very well on the video, but most of the times you will need to replace the steering rack pinion piston. there are kits for this. see this video.

hope it helps.

I don't hear the noise associated with this in the OP video.

It sounds like something is rubbing, maybe check the clearance between the column trim and the steering wheel trim pieces?

ohhh yes, i hear now what you are saying in the video. Yes you can check if the fender liners are loose or something like that also. I had something similar with the steering wheel rubbing with the backshield of the steering wheel, i just pulled it a little bit and that worked to put everything in place again.
