Running watches.

Looking to get one with music so it seems there is only a tomtom spark/runner 3 or a full on android watch?
Android one is a bit ott for what I need it for which is basically running outside, tracking runs and listening to music without having to cart a big phone around.

Anyone else have one?

I use a Garmin Fenix 3 HR, doesnt have music but it tracks absolutely every part of your run/walk bike whatever exercise you do.

Fitbit charge 2 or Surge? youll need a phone still for music, but you can buy tiny music players cheap these days anyway

I have both and use them constantly, may not be 100% waterproof but they work fine in the rain etc.

Also customer service is unbelievably good, both my 2 broke...due to my own stupidity ( one i snapped and the other showered with it on for months and the battery slowly died from that. They sent me replacements no questions asked, I didn't even need to send mine off as they said when the new ones turn up just dispose of my broken ones properly at a recycling centre. Happy days as both shouldnt have been covered by them but they did anyway.

I have just got the new Garmin Forerunner 35. I now leave my phone at home. It's only £150 it does everything I need as a GPS running watch also does walking, bike, cardio, wrist based HR (works with a chest HRM as well), calories burnt, daily step count, phone notifications and even the weather if you want that. Doesn't do music though. Battery lasts ages as well (8+ days without bluetooth on). I also tried an Apple Watch 2, Garmin Forerunner 230, 235 and 735 and for the money I don't think the 35 can be beat.

Used to use a Garmin Forerunner 910XT when I was training. Great watch, but won't fill your music needs.
