Easy $1k UDE Credit

Hey All,

I was on the BMW owners ultimate benefits page today (https://www.bmwusa.com/ultimate-benefits.html) to see if there were any events near by for me to attend. While I was in there I registered for the "WIN THE ULTIMATE TRIP TO JAPAN". A few minutes later I got an email thanking me and giving me a UDE code for $1k off a new BMW and it expires @ the end of the year.

I don't know if I got the code because I was one of the first to register or not, but if you are in the market and you don't already have a UDE credit, this might be a good chance to get one (and maybe win a trip to Japan too).

Looks like this is targeted towards the North East market (all the selections for your preferred dealership are in that region). I didn't see this on my ultimate benefits page (West coast). The url is http://winatriptothefareast.eventsbmw.com/.

I have a feeling the $1k credit will only be good in the NE market since the fine print says it's only good at participating dealers.

EDIT: Just noticed some more fine print:

Well that's great. Just got the e-mail confirmation with 1K lease coupon. That's almost another $26 a month off my lease!

Here's the site to sign up.

Every $1000 is about $26 a month off lease about. I'm speaking when I'm ready for new lease.

If you read the fine print .... it doesn't apply to an ordered car , only inventory. Secondly this 1000 is split between the dealership and BMWNA so if the dealership gives a considerable discount they may elect not to contribute their 500

The last time I ordered the car, I had one of these and I didn't even bother asking. After the fact, I mentioned to my CA that I had this certificate. She said they would have been able to take advantage of it. Maybe they are not required to honor it, but they can choose to do so?
