Thanks guys.

Ahh, interesting about the sound symposer. It does sound nice however and seems to be pretty well judged against the drive.

Showed up on the system for delivery in the third week of March. I'll take that date with a slight pinch of salt however given my 328i showed up almost 2 months late compared with the original scheduled date.

Mixed feelings at the moment.... really excited about the new car obviously, but at the same time, i have a feeling of really wanting to maximise and enjoy my time with the 328 before it goes.

I enquired about the facelift but dealer seemed pretty adamant that it'd be another year before it followed suit, reasoning they'd let the 2 series sit for a while as a fresh face.

Either way, its one of those things I guess which you'll never win 100% on... I remember about a month after picking my 328, they started rolling out DAB radios as standard annoyingly...

Mpg on 328i

Sorry to but in I was thinking of getting a 328i and was wondering what mpg people are genuinely getting from them urban and motorway driving?
I currently have an e60 530d m sport and am getting approx 33 urban and low 40's on the motorway.
Thanks Steve

Up until my little 'overboost' problem, have been getting somewhere between 40-42mpg - I would guess my driving is 15% town, 40% country lanes and 45% dual carriageway/motorway. Car spends 60% of its time in Comfort (m/way & town) and 40% of its time in Sport/Manual (country lanes).

Since the overboost fix, been getting about 38-40mpg.
