I was following this thread closely to see what suggestions other members were going to make. I've got saved searches on most of the major websites, but I feel like the deals I'd be interested in come from forums, facebook, or craigslist where I'm working privately with someone.

Any advice for how best to search out for these?

SearchTempest searches nationwide Craigslist. Cargurus, Autotrader, Cars.com, CarsandBids, Bringatrailer, etc.

I found this one on Autotrader at about 10pm at night (EDT); couldn't have been listed for more than an hour or two before we called and jumped on it. Unfortunately due to the limited supply in the market, estoril blue wagons are really tough to find. If you're lucky there's one available at a time, so you've just got to look everywhere and jump on it when you find something in your price range.

I was really looking for something in the 40-50k mile range assuming that's what would bring the cost under $40k, but I found this one with 24k miles for $30k, so apparently deals are out there.

yeah a '17 EB MSport with sub-25k miles for $30k is a real steal. Easily $40K+ vehicle in my opinion.

JDNY516 - Yes, Searchtempest is what I am using to assist me. I really like the Craigslist function there. The only thing I have difficulty with is fine tuning the search to only get results for wagons, without excluding any listings that someone might tag incorrectly to not show in the search results.

Stohlen - Wouldn't need to be Estoril Blue, but I do like Whites/Greys as well. I would probably be in a similar brackets to you with pricing/mileage and the rest of the options though.

Thanks! I'll have to get the whole stable together for a proper photo one of these days. The 1 series is her car, and I have a 991.1 4S not pictured. We bought the F31 together to replace her Camry and the Legacy GT wagon, both of which are ~200k and very tired.

Congrats on the purchase! I've also been on the hunt for an F31 in a unique spec with the right options. Pretty early in my search, but seems like it's going to be difficult to find the right car, especially one with the M sport and track handling packages.

They're out there, but be prepared to jump on the right one especially if it has all the options you want. Love my F31 and have no plans of letting it go anytime soon!

As with many others on this forum, I follow the wagon market pretty closely looking for a 2016+ with the track handling package (M-sport package is nice, but the track handling package is more what I am interested in).

At this point I'd say with that option you are looking at a $30,000 plus dollar car for anything with 75,000 miles or under, regardless of any modifications.

If you have a wagon in your possession it's a good time to sell.

If you are looking for a wagon, it's a hard time to buy.

Now back to dreaming that corporate BMW hears my plea for a G81 M3 as they would hate to lose me to a Volvo V60 T8 PE and brings over the G81 M3 wagon.

I'll probably be placing an order for the Volvo in the next month, so they better step on it.

I didn't know that there were cars out there with the track handling package and no M-Sport; I only want a car with both regardless.

I think it always pays to buy the best. I want to find the lowest mileage, highest speced car that I can!

Thank you and I will if I decide to let it go. It's got less than 9,000 miles on it still and doesn't get driven nearly as much. I'm adding a van to the mix and with four (4) cars now, it'll stay parked for even longer periods now.

Are you looking for a stablemate for your E63 wagon? What are the specs? That's in another league performance and luxury-wise but aesthetically I prefer the F31 to almost all generations of E63 wagons!

This is fantastic! What a stable this is. I had been on the hunt for an E91 but based on this find, I might have to shift to an F31! I guess I'll take any color as long as I can get the specs. Great find!

Sounds good.

I'm going to be selling the E63. It's silver over black with every available option. I picked it up from the original owner. It's hands down my favourite car that I've owned, but after 5 years its just time to try something else. The car should actually be going up on BAT this week!
