So I took my 2013 335i xdrive to the dealer....they called me back to tell me the oil filter gasket was leaking so they are changing the gasket and belts under cpo warranty, which I see plenty of info on this forum and seems normal.

What I can't find any info on is they are also telling me my coolant cap is cracked and my exhaust( I want to say they said mid clip) is broke. Has anyon else heard of this?
They want $35 for th cap and $200 sumthing for the bracket/clip.

Side note I have tire and wheel insurance and had a nail in a rear tire that needed replacement. When they called they notified me they were changing the rear tire with the nail and the front had a bubble. I don't recall a bubble but maybe I missed it.

Idk maybe I'm a little paranoid but I can't help to think they hit a pothole or something.
Any advice or knowledge of these issues would be appreciated.

Ps please no comment on y I should have a dash cam becuase I agree.

The coolant cap and "mid clip" (unsure what this is) are inexpensive parts. I don't think the dealer is exaggerating the extent of needed repairs. Just ask the dealer to preserve all repaired parts and return them to you. You will have a chance to inspect them and have the peace of mind that repairs were needed after all.

Is an exhaust clip/bracket easy to change?
I think I'm going to try and see what's going on myself. $200 seems pricey for something that should be inexpensive like you said.

Hard to see how any clip or bracket for the exhaust would cost $200. Is that labor as well?

Yes that's a quote for them to fix.
I had called up asking for more information on the exuast and my SA is finding out from the mechanic and getting back to me.

ok I believe that part is about $60, so you have the added expense of having to put the car on the lift/labor, perhaps removing body panels etc.

Long story short they cut the price from $219 to $129 with "discount". Anyways got it done and just picked up the car to find my m perf front lip hanging off the car on one side with the same side cracked at the bottom. I asked them what they would do about it and unfortunately all service workers left for the night as I was returning it late to sales.

Am I still paranoid?
What should I do?

Looks like the result of hitting a pothole to me. It's more or less standard procedure for a dealer to take pictures of the car all around when it's left off for service, so if something was dinged when it came in they have a record of it. You should do the same, to be able to prove that nothing was dinged when you brought it in.

My dealer always does a detailed walk around with me before dropping car off. Havent taken pictures but do fill out one of those body diagram sheets detailing any damage present. When I go to pick it up... Im the guy walking around it in the car port inspecting it for new damage. I know, once I drive away and notice something in my driveway - its my problem to deal with. Been there, done that!

Called this morning told me they would review the body diagram sheet you mentioned which is protocol for them to fill out. Told me just before to call back in the morning and set and appointment for a loaner and bring the car in for them to look at and see maybe if they can do anything.
What does that even mean and how have they not found the paper?
Well I took it upon myself at this point to look at, I think I fixed it with the old rivet that was seen above, besides the cracked bottom I'm still pissed about but luckily is unnoticeable unless your head is 2 inches from the ground. There is a very slight gap at the end but I pulled on it pretty hard and the rivet seems like it's holding
Either way I'm trying out a new dealership next service, but what should I do at this point?

Any opinions?
One side of me wants to say f it and never go back there because it seems like it's holding well and no1 will ever see the bottom.
But the other side of me is pissed and feels disrespected that they didn't even attempt to fix it, and I want to demand a new front diffuser painted the same.

I would go back with it hanging down and see what they say...

I guess one way to look at it is:

What would it take to make it perfect again? Is it realistic to make that happen? If it is then make them take care of it. If it's not, and they are only going to stick it back up there like you did, then fuck em' and cut your losses.

If they can make it better than you have it now without taking off the whole bumper and re painting then let them.

It's tough to judge the extent of the damage without seeing it in person.

I agree though and would also feel disrespected.
