Aftermarket diffusers - which seller?
Anyone got a recommendation of a good seller for a decent performance rear diffuser? For a 340i specifically so dual exit.
There are plenty on Ebay/Amazon around the £50/£60 mark, but has anyone actually bought one of these, and do they fit ok? If you have if you wouldnt mind linking your seller that would be appreciated Ideally looking for a gloss black one but im not massivelt adverse to having a normal plastic one painted if the fit is good and its cheap enough. |

Not aftermarket but I bought mine for the 340i from BlueBell BMW at Crewe genuine parts so no issue with the fit paid £210 delivered and did haggle a deal with the parts guy good saving on the retail price.
Only aftermarket one I bought was awful fit, well actually it didn't fit, so sent it back. I appreciate not all non OEM are the same. |

I got mine off ebay, pre-painted in gloss black for £90, it's 2-3mm short, but not noticeable unless you're right up close to it.
You can always take a punt on an ebay one and return it if it doesn't fit. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-DIFFU...K/264487600194

Bought this one a while back.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GLOOS-BLA...0AAOSwCg9dSZBM Not a good fit at all in terms of screw holes and clips, but just bit the bullet and shoe horned it in rather than return it.

I'm glad you're happy with your purchase, but clearly from other examples of people buying the genuine article, you don't always get what you pay for.

Got mine from eBay for £70
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F264061253345 as above its ever so slightly too short (can't notice it when on unless you're on your knees) also the clip holes etc didn't quite line up. It looked like it was in place but actually most of the clips hadn't fully gone home. In the end took the whole bumper off, so much easier got every single clip and screw in no problem. Wasn't a huge hassle getting the bumper off either so if you're struggling to get the clips in just do that. Considering it was massively less money than genuine and it's just a bit of matte plastic, I was happy to take the hit with more time for fitting |
