435i headlights too low

Hi all,

New here, just got a 2014 435i coup (F32). Since i test drove it i notice the headlights (adaptive) are pointing too low.
When i turn the car on, they start high and start adjusting lower and lower and then stabilize too low in my opinion.
The car is stock, no mods what so ever and no reported accidents - very clean and maintained at BMW.

Do you guy experience a similar issue? is it by design? or is it a calibration issue?

I can take pics and post if it help.

Thanks!
MM

Thx but my headlight start too low. If I follow this I will end up probably lowering them further?

What would be the optimal height when you're 25 feet away?
I believe the driver side is also and should be lower than the passager

Any way to code the light angle? They do start higher and adjust lower automatically

are you adjusting it by the lights with the screwdriver to raise it?

double check the sensor behind the driver wheel, its not broken or popped off

bro the adjuster screws are there specifically for this purpose - the auto levelling just ensures they stay at the same height even if the car's loaded in the rear and the front's pointing up for example. just adjust it from the screws.

Will do. Was exploring all options.

I know that BMW driver side headlight is lower than the passenger side one (to not blind oncoming traffic).
Does anyone have the OEM specs for each? The YouTube videos specify one height for both
