Exclamation Bootmod3 stage 1 2015 f30 issues

Guys, I just tuned my 2015 335xi with bootmod3 stage 1 93 Octane. A week after, I installed a VRSF charge pipe and a VRSF Catless Down pipe. The car is a lot smoother and much faster.

I expected a CEL because of the down pipe and it popped on the dash 2 days later. I eliminated with the tune but it popped again 2 days later.

In addition to when I start the car when it is warm, it shakes like it is about to stall but it doesn't stall.

Did anyone experienced the same issue?

Thank you

Do you have the box checked that disables the cold start? If so, it will run rough for the first 15-20 seconds. After that, it should idle smooth as stock.

As for the CEL from the catless DP. You will need to reflash the car and select the rear o2 to be turned off. After you have made those changes, you shouldn't have any issues.

I’m just curious, how do you select the rear o2 sensor to be turned off? I don’t remember seeing that option anywhere when flashing.

I'll try turning the cold start off and see how it runs. The weird thing is that it does that when it is warm not cold.

I turned the Cat monitoring sensor off from bootmod3 and reflashed my car this morning. I'll drive for the next couple days and let you know the outcome.

Thank you.

You need to go to the configuration of your map and you will see Cat monitoring tab. You can choose between OEM or off so just turned it off and the ECU will never check the Cat efficiency again.
