Msport steering wheel retrofit from wreck
Hey guys,
Anyone out there tried to retrofit a Msport steering wheel from a wreck? Is there coding required? My standard steering already has paddles. TIA |

I have done mine before. Just a straight swap, no coding require. Paddle shifts and vibration were working fine for my car. Make sure when you buy a msport steering from the wrecker, it must include the air bag.

Check on BMW Australia website first as your 3 series i think is also affected by the Takata airbag recall and they may not replace your retrofitted airbag with a new one as they go on your original factory spec when replacing them.
