Looks great! Now you need to do the exhaust conversion. I did my m235i exhaust conversion a couple days ago and it looks so much better with the dual exhausts

I received a replica M Performance Diffuser with dual outlets earlier in the week but wasn't happy with the fit/finish/quality so I've ordered another one which I should receive on Monday - this one is a quad outlet.

I'm getting my exhaust guy to do me a custom axle-back as soon as the Diffuser arrives.

He's gonna cut the rear section off and then let me try different mufflers/resonators/pipe designs until I'm happy with the sound.

Couple of additions... Added the silver trim around the light switch. I know its only a little thing but it was bugging me that it didn't match the Audio/Climate controls....

...and...

NEW DIFFUSER ON! Now I can go get the exhaust made!

Mate, I never noticed that there is no trim around the light switches - it looks way better now. Can you give us details of the trim? Easy to install?

I'm sure you can get the genuine BMW parts - I think if you get the "Luxury" line it comes with this trim - but I just thought I'd take a chance and order this:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/271817514304

It's just 2 stick-on bits with 3M tape on the back. Matches perfectly. Fits perfectly. Cost $23. Why not?

Very happy with the result.

Don't have any vids yet but very happy with how this came out and the best way to describe the sound is "ballsy".

The guys at Rob Bliss Exhaust are amazing. Their quality is impeccable. Their service and professionalism are fantastic and the price was great!

Here are some pics in the meantime...

NICE! those welds look amazing, I'm seriously contemplating going to an exhaust shop now to have a similar setup made now that I've seen yours. How much did that roughly set you back?!

Car is looking great. I love how u went down the custom exaust route. So what did they do...it looks like they deleted the muffler and replaced with pipeing.

The job looks awsome. Only criticism, could be the photo, but the exhaust tips look like they come out on an angle.

$950.

Muffler delete.
High quality 3" Stainless.
Tig Welded and Mandrel Bent.
Ceramic Black Quad Tips.

AND converted rear section to Bolt-on so that I can put the OEM one back on if I want later...

Can't argue with that.

Thanks mate.

Info about design is in my last post.

Tips are coming out straight but they are cut off on an angle to follow the curve of the bumper. Looks great IRL.

Definitely looks OEM. I bet BMW will charge a lot more than $23, nice find Harlequin.

Definitely a good idea to have that bolt-on setup, that's an amazing price for 304 stainless . What happened to the factory actuator? Did you re-use it for the muffler delete or simply tuck it away?

Took it for a cruise tonight to check for drone. Seems to be all good. Even in Ecopro mode.

Will do a vid on the weekend hopefully.

Suprisingly good if no drone, can you hear the downshift blips now?

Super keen for video!

Oh yeah.

Gear changes up and down are now quite audible. There's lots of burble and pops when you come off the power.

And the induction noise from the intake and the venting of the DV are now audible as well.

It feels like a completely different car. Just from the change in sound.

Fairly convinced to get this done, how is it during everyday driving? Does it get annoying?
