Splitter cam

Just looking for a recommendation for a front splitter level parking camera if anyone is using one, don't mind a small screen mounted somewhere unobtrusive, but ideally could be hooked up to idrive though and can be activated at will, rather than always on. I don't want go the route of the all round cameras retrofit but don't mind spending a couple of hundred bucks including installation

Am aware that reversing into spaces is an option

Thanks in advance

Not always practical or convenient when getting the dog or pushchairs, shopping etc in and out of the boot, but yes I totally agree I would normally back in to spaces where possible

It's a shame Darth Helmut got banned, he had an awesome splitter cam! Maybe you can dig up his old thread.

Personally, if and when i go shopping, i would always reverse in to a parking space and never drive in, even though its harder to put your shopping in the boot, at least when your pointing the right way you never have a problem just driving straight out, then you are not having to struggle reversing out of tight spaces that shopping centres and supermarkets always have and even worse in multi-stories, if it's busy people won't let you out, also people don't seem to concentrate as much, and have seen two people reversing and then bump in to each other. On the previous comment i will definitely not be sexist or ageist !!!, even my Mrs always reverses in a car park.

Thanks mate I have considered wireless but don't really fancy having to charge / change batteries regularly over the winter and so on, I haven't yet managed to find the Bimmertech one available in the UK but will keep looking as it seems to be exactly what i'm after
