Stock OEM 435i '15 exhaust & tips

I just ordered the MPE with a new set of tips, so I will by the start of next week have an original F32 435i 2015 stock OEM exhaust with chrome tips going spare. Its condition is just generally used - do these generally sell well on here?

Obviously, any return I can make is a plus towards paying off the MPE.

you'd be better off keeping it and selling the MPE when you change the car, not much of a market for the oem exhaust, they last ages and don't need replacing for years.

Also if it were me trying to sell I'd have polished the tips

Its Hard to make an offer really, how much are you after (ballpark figure will help) and where its located? Willing to ship or is it pick up only?

Might sell better with a little more info!

By the time I come to change the car it's going to be pretty old.

As for the tips I don't actually have any metal polish or abrasive pads to tackle it, so I can't. The majority of it I have cleaned up.

I can ship it but it's going to cost a fortune due to its weight. I'm in Birmingham city centre but willing to drive out 40 minutes or so to meet at a services if that helps.

For anyone interested I'm looking for £190 at the baseline, I've just seen a chopped up one with no tips sell for 205

My car is on PCP and i've done this mod, dealership has no issues with it, I also did the same to my E93 but fitted aftermarket tips, again no issues, just keep the old exhaust and buy the exhaust clamps to refit your old one if you can be bothered when you need to hand the car back.

Generally if your upgrading and fitting genuine BMW parts you'll be fine.

Unfortunately any exhaust replacement is going to require a pipe cut and weld, that's exactly how BMW fitted my MPE.

What this guy said - just double check it with the contract holder if you decide to.
