I'm thinking of doing this as I had a similar setup with my Stance wheels. Now this is what you call "beefy" AND it won't rub! :-)

Guys,
I'm pretty much set on 19" VS8.2's. I figured since I moved to a new house and expect to drive more this year, comfort should be my top priority! I know I'm going to miss the looks of these in 20" but I need to sacrifice a bit. So this is what I've opted for. Please chime in with suggestions: 9x19 and 10x19 245/35/19 F 275/30/19 R What do u think? I really want the tires to be aggressive and as fat as possible in the back. With the 20's I was gonna go 295/25 in the back but my tire dealer suggested 275/30 with the 19's... My car is also lowered on the H&R Sport Springs...

There was a sales thread for 19" VS8.2 recently. I even think he lived in Canada, did you see that Maz335i? Wanted $3300 for them.

Andy from Morr said they experimented with a couple of tones and settled for the darker one. But I've seen some that look like mine. Waiting for pics soon then! |

I think that what you were recommended to use would be the best setup for the wheels. It will still look nice. To me the offset (more than tire width) of the wheel does more to give it an aggressive and mean look.

I'm not very knowledgable in this so plz ignore my stupid questions but can we get 10.5" (width) in the back with a 19" rim? He mentioned 10x19 but I was thinking of 10.5x19. Is this even technically possible?

I can't see any issues with that since we can use a 11" wide rear with the 20's. but maybe Morr doesn't make that? I don't know how custom their Monoforged series really are. There is no reason to go wider in the rear if you can't get a more concave wheel from it. It will only add weight so maybe 10" rears are the perfect combination for the Morr's.
Something like your current setup looks pretty much perfect. I think my fronts are a bit too aggressive (just 2-3mm too much) so your current offsets translated to the new widths would look awesome. But as you have seen on m3_guy and some others Morr have a very nice look already. They know what offset to use. |

I think those are about $3800 'new'. They charge $3400 without any finish then tack on another price depending on finish (it's around $400 for brushed).
I ordered some about a month ago, but still no word on when they'll be done. Andy jumped in a thread awhile back before I ordered basically laughing at the 8 week wait someone mentioned and said it was more like 4. I think it's closer to 10 right now... Someone is at 9 weeks currently on this board I think. |

I'm thinking of a track setup, 18X9 up front, 18x10 in the rear...anyone try that with these?

I don't see why it wouldnt work. Could get meatier wheels to fit with the smaller wheel diameter. May even be able to run 265/40's in the rear (I didn't do the math but it would be close i'd presume)

Yeah, probably, I have these lovely 400M's for the street, where they are tough and heavy for the abusive Northeast potholes...I would HATE to drive these Morr's through that!

Closest I could find were Toyo Proxes R888 245/40-18 275/35-18 Don't know if that'll be too crazy aggressive. I have a bad feeling I'm going to be thrown into the "everything flies" category and get my a$$ handed to me with these slicks...
