has nothing to do with the translation. its the weird attitude about it. I am sure you're a great guy however the claims and lack of understanding is funny.

flashing the car back to stock will give you the trans flash you had before. it's tied to your vin.

yes the stage 1 flash would be what you want.

if you have questions, ask xhp. they are the people to talk to.

Your vision of the software comes from your mapping of the gearbox and the engine of your car.
Let's be honest, this product does not add anything to Sportive or GT range vehicles except maybe, in SPORT mode only.

I wasn't critisizing your way of driving, just saying its a situation i have not encountered since i don't use the paddles for a quick/sudden downshift. Therefore, i have found no issues or complaints with XHP. Unfortunately it might not be the same for you, if you frequently use the paddles in D/comfort to try and initiate quick gear changes.

I don't think stage 1 will work for him given his complaint/issue. AFAIK, once you flash xhp of any stage, the "side effect" of delayed paddle response in D/comfort as comared to stock will be there. You need to be in sport/sport+ and S for it to be fast.

I think stage 1 and a reset of the driving adoptions in the dme would fix his complaints

These have nothing to do with adaptations. Its XHPs programming and the way it changes the delay between pulling a paddle and changing the gear, based on which modes you are in (i.e., XHP has a larger delay than stock programming in comfort/D). I haven't personally tested stage 1, but even on stage 3 the delay is there, so i doubt stage 1 would be faster in that regard.

When I use the paddles while in D and in comfort it is still delayed with stock mapping. I always had to push the lever to the side or be in sport.

The delay is alleviated a bit in comfort by going into DTC with just a single button tap as we've discussed before. Of course not everyone wants to do that when they want those faster shift times in comfort but I've grown to like the interesting middle option still being in comfort and being able to get a the normal slower shifts if I'm just cruising or a bit quicker ones without going into sport / sport+. Of course I understand again some would rather it not be the way it is but I trust XHP's knowledge on that decision.

I'm having issues logging into xHP as of a few weeks ago. If I remember correctly it shows my vin registered but it doesn't let me choose anything on the home screen, which isn't fully loading because nothing is clickable. I know my cables work because I can connect to BM3. Anyone experience similar issues?

That wasn't the issue. I'm not sure what was, because I didn't change anything the other day but it loaded the app without an issue. Now the problem is that it won't take the custom shift maps I have entered for whatever reason. Not that i am aware of. I personally like that, so i can use custom shiftpoints all the time except when i press kickdown. I almost never press the kickdown, so i like having that as a trigger to basically go to redline.

My experience with Xhp is that after running an e30 tune for about a month I switched back to a regular pump gas tune and there was a light hang between the gears when it was about half throttle in sport mode almost felt like someone was tapping the breaks ever so slightly.

Just my guess when I would shift manually the shifts were crisp plus I've seen someone else post about having the same problem on the fb page

he asked about the application and not the maps.. regardless, you don't have to reflash every time the application is updated. doesn't matter if the maps were updated or not, you don't have to.
